Paws to Read

Our library has a great program called Paws to Read. The boys get to pick a book and read to the sweetest dogs for 20 minutes. They love it. It's a great time for them to just read our loud, but no one is correcting them or judging them. It's nice.

Homeschooler Day The Virginia Living Museum.

Our local museum, The Virginia Living Museum, hosts an annual homeschooler day. It's really great. They have special classes and booths set up all over. Besides the fact that the museum is cool all by itself makes it an awesome day! Sam was old enough to take a class on his own this year. It was an experience for him. The only classes he's taken alone, he's had friends in. He was a little bit afraid, but did it. He took The Bay B C's class. Jackson took, Think Like a Scientist. Shane took Web of Life. They all seemed to like their time there. Sam's class was at different time, so Jackson and Shane toured the bigger kid stuff and then when they had class, it was Sammy's turn to tour. It was a nice day and then we had lunch at our new Chick-fil-A!

Catch Up Time.

We haven't done anything really blog worthy. We took a few weeks off and just got back to the grind today. Everyone was in good spirits and ready to get the last part of this year done. They always get really excited towards March as they are about to progress to the next grade level.
School in jammies.

Sam's project.

The dog needed to join the class as well.
